Alloy or not ally this is the question!!!!!!
Hi peeps im building up a fast road engine using arius pistons, eagle rods, vf34 turbo and equal length manifold more mods to come but the next step before building is balancing! I had my OE flywheel turned to lighten it but then noticed when facing it it had got hot and hardened parts so i was looking for a replacement and thought why not get a alloy one i can get a unorthodoxracing clutch kit part# 161320416 from the states for about $1471.73. including the alloy pulley set i want, So what i want to know is what would the car idle like and would it be worth getting or does anyone know where i can get a clutch and flywheel kit over here in the Uk cheaper or better?

well clutch & flywheel in the uk i dont know but try turbo metrics, he sorted me out with an exedy 4.5kgs flywheel and organic ACT street race clutch capeable of 420lbs. He also does better if needed!!! good prices too.
Must say the clutch is great its bedded in now and i had to try it at the lights, launched at 4500/5000 rpm clutch gripped and shot off like a rocket and only slight wheelspin. It was great and no burning smell whatsoever
wont be doing that very often but just had to see!!!
