Default help with sti 5 tries to die

since replacing header with megan she is playin up on hard drivin come down to junction braken hard clutch down she trys to die wait asec and the rev needle comes back up to normal tick over help please thanks in advance

no m8 but have had the car remapped a couple of weeks a go

could be possible MAF failure or the change since the remap has altered the engine enough to cause the problem on idle. Assuming you had the original ecu ecutec'd?

no original ecu was lost battery ran at 11.4 and lost all, replaced with uk ecu with a jap map runs slower but ive been told its at its max not happy

but the headers were added and the problem appeared?

not sure, as had the remap 2 weeks later and didnt drive the car much until now could it be the ecu?
