On my V4 type R im using a 3" H&S downpipe with Blitz Nur Spec R centre and backbox and does it ever growl lol its a bit too loud for me though so im looking to swap it for something a little more sedate.Ive heard that the H&S full system is nice

Joe, have a look at my profile if you wanna see an exhaust at angle type thing, its an HKS Hyper muffler £492 + vat, sounds nice got a good burble to it, its about 4" . Give Mark Gould a ring on 01795668899, it comes all the way from Japan (about 2 weeks), you'll have to tell him whether its a GC8 (Grey import) or uk, other than that easy really. Its only a cat back system though, not full.

I've got the ScoobySport system (the old H&S one) - nice growl/burble & is 3"...

IMHO
there is really only one choice it has to be the HKS hiper muffler i've had 2 now one one my FD3 RX7 and this one.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v494/roru/HKS.jpg

Which has know been on the car for 5yrs, great sound (especialy with HKS headers ) and very well made.

Blitz Nur Spec R is too loud, but it does not exit at an angle.

Highly recommend the HKS Hiper which does come out at an angle. You can get a bung to calm down the noise for early starts, and bung out for a nice bit of noise. Not as loud as some of the exhausts available, including the Blitz. With the bung in, it's quieter than a H&S full de-cat.

I just bought the Blitz backbox only and made a custom mandrel bent 76Ǿ2mm T304 stainless steel center pipe for 20£ . 3" Helix downpipe is on the way tho

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...uman/blitz.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...man/blitzz.jpg

I haven't install them yet but I think it would be loud as hell so I may add a silencer to the center pipe if needed.

..If you like angled exit exhausts consider the Afterburner Vortex on a full H&S decat. Big tailpipe coming out at an angle with a "titanium style burnt tip".
Best looking Exhaust IMO and the nearest thing you will get to a WRC rally style crackle.
It is very loud.
