Unhappy New Clutch - Is this normal

Just had a Organic Clutch fitted not so log ago, along side a lightened flywheel...because i was fedup of my old clutch juddering all the time...

Over the last few days it has started juddring slightly when moving off....

Any thoughts?

To be fair on clutches in general Sam, when you showed my the judder starting on your old clutch I didn't think it was that bad. The clutches are always going to judder more than a normal road car as the friction material is harder to cope with the greater abuse they get.

virtually every scooby we get in the w/shop modified or not, has a clutch judder to some degree...............lifting the revs ever so slightly on engagement tends to overcome all but the worst offenders!!

mine judderd a tad till it was properlly bedded in

give it a week and see how it is?

i gave mine a full blown "blip the throttle at high revs and dump the clutch in 1st" to bed mine in, and it was fine afterwards, the tyres were not tho!!

I find that if you launch at over 4000rpm everytime from stand still this is not really an issue.(Last thing on my mind)
Seriously, MY00 has always done it to a degree and still does with lightened flywheel and new clutch.

my MY98 has alway done it too. my local scooby garage said that cars from MY97 -MY99 should have been recaled to have the fly wheel changed and also a new lock nut put onto 5th gear. Try asking your local subaru to see if thay no about the recall on the cars
