Is it possible to identify the cams by the L* numbers. These cams the lobes appear narrower than my standard 94my cams, is that normal?

do they look more 'pointy'??
More agressive could be higher and wider lobe depending on shimming.

What year are the heads?
The shims I used for my STI3 heads are flat.

Hi Dyney
Thanks for the reply. I was trying to work that out, I think they must be STi 2's. Anybody got any information about these cams?

I was hoping you'd say they were STI 2
If they were WRX/UK heads they would be hydraulic tappets.
I take it the valve stem sits in the resess of the shim?
