just picked up one of these secondhand. It is just a replacement shift lever.
Did the original kit come with more than this..... ie some of the gubbins underneath?
If it did am I ok replacing just the lever or should I be changing bushes and linkages aswell? I've had a look at some kits for sale on-line and see that some come with linkages and bushes and some are just levers.
Anyone with some experience of these things care to enlighten me?
Thanks very much for any help/advice.

If your linkage is OK no need to replace it just put the short shift in.
Stickymicky recently put a homemade jobbie in and it considerably shorten the throw on his WRX.

.....but the only part that is differant to standard is the actual lever. Pull it out at the ball joint and bash it into yours!
