N/S front problem .. . still :(:( !!!
I have still got the problem on the N/S front of the scoob (MY99)
When cold it seems ok, but when warm or has had a bit of a run when cornering at slow speeds (more noticeable when parking) its as if the N/S wheel is dragging, i.e its like the n/s is under-steering on its own !! Or something is holding the n/s back and stopping it from turning freely. Can't feel any movement in the bottom ball joint or wheel bearing ... .its driving me mad
Any idea’s?
Bottom Ball joint - can't feel any movement but you can never be sure
Wheel Bearing - can't feel any movement
cv joint - still does the same thing even if you depress clutch
front drop link rubbers - ??

its not a break caliper problem/sticking? have you touched the brake disc when you have the problem to see how hot it is and compared it to the opposite side? CAREFUL IT MAY BE VERY HOT
