Is an sti4 engine the same as a type r sti4 engine?


Also does anyone no the colour of the ecu wire for the rpm signal on a type r sti4

I think they are the same. The transmission has a dccd and lower ratio gears and maybe different diffs to.

AS above engines are the same, (i think) but gear box are different
