i am going to buy a new exhaust for my 00 classic shape turbo 2000 wagon. i am not sure whether to get a cat back system or a full decat from the turbo back. i read somewhere that you have to have the engine remapped if you do this, is this true and if so how much will it cost?
can anyone recommend anything, i have £500 to spend but my wife has specified she doesnt want me upsetting the neighbours so it cant be really loud. any help with this would be much appreciated as i am very confused, with so many options.

 

you can have a decat without a remap but i would remap it at a later date to get full benifits
