AFAIK its still a TD04 turbo, same as a uk car, but will see what i can find out.
Tony
PS the other way is to look down onto the turbo and it should have in (small) letters what it is.

Im pretty sure its all the same......
I worked out that the volume of the newage STI intercooler is 30% more than the WRX so maybe thats what they were referring to. Im confident they have the TD04 and the same IC, probably just have boost set to 1.05 bar or something.
They also have a shorter gearbox too as far as im aware. A friend on my forum has one.

Thanks Tony
After reading and ripping into their scooby guide, shows how much they know (subtle details like early uk cars had 4 channel ABS )
I only know of one person with a new age JDM WRX so ill have to ask rusty about it, but i dont think there is much difference between the 2 cars except for the power.

Make that 1d104h.
Make that 1d104h.
That though would just confirm that its the same as a uk car turbo wise.
