Thumbs down I'm a knobber

Longish story but have just overfilled the scoob with oil (about inch on the dipstick ).

Must use the car daily, whats the worst that can happen and how easy is it to locate "the nut" to drain a bit.

Nut is right under the car hidden under the engine tray. With a jack you should be able to lift the car up enough to get to the nut and drain a bit out.

Don't drive it around overfilled, IMHO

Good luck,
Ray

oil will block the boost controll solonoid[has happened to me]it gets sucked through under boost.and the sump nut is under the plastic sump guard next to the oil filter.4 screws and a couple of plastic clips to take off the sump guard that is about 15 minutes all in .

When you undo the sump plug to try and drain a bit of oil, put a clean container underneath as well so if it all pi***s out you can reuse it minus the over fill amount
