Exhayst system for a MY03 WRX PPP
Is there anyone that can advise if i would be creating more probs a PPP exhaust after prodirve have tuned the ECU etc.. with this back box.have seen Mike Wood stating that power gains would not really hapen on changing zorst and in fact power output may even drop.Has anyone changed a PPP pipe and been happy ang gains apart from noise levels Pics and opinions appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
Hi Jabbroni
I changed my PPP zorst for a TSL group N,mainly cos the Prodrive one was starting to look a bit grotty,ie rusty welds.

I can't say that I've noticed any real gains or losses in performance, although it does sound a whole lot fruitier now
particularly with a non-res centre section

...in fact,if anything I'd say the throttle response was now a tad crisper

Prodrive exhaust is very good - performance wise - and not much noisy for every day use.
You can't find easily other aftermarket exhausts that worth the extra money but this is personal opinion, except you want more noise (sound is the correct term) or plan huge modifications in the future.

Thanks for keeping me right Andy.
Send a mail to Bob anyway and see what he thinks.
The very modest Mr Forrest omitted to say that he put a similar vehicle, WRX with TD04, plus exhaust and Ecutek on the rollers at Dastek last Friday and it made a VERY respectable 300bhp and 320ft. lbs. so an e-mail to Andy has got to be worthwhile too.
