Lightbulb single rounded, or open neck

single rounded entrance, or open neck downpipe?
i have heard that a free flowing single round enterance can be better as it reduces boost spiking? is this correct?

I've found the Open neck to be worthwhile.

I found it very hard to control boost with the magnex twin dump and an AVC-R boost controller. I've got the H&S open neck now. The AVC-R can control boost without any problem now.
