Default Blitz fitting advice

Folks,

Just bought a Blitz NUR Spec back box (not the R) and I`m thinking the flange on it will be too big fof my current system.

I`ve got a `99 PPP`d turbo so it`s got a 2.5" system from the downpipe back. Now I`ve just measured the diameter of the Blitz and it`s 3"!!!!

Now am I just being a complete idiot and missing something or will I need a wider diameter centre section to accomodate this backbox?

Cheers,

Chris.

Cool

I got a Blitz Nur spec back box and it was 2.5" which fitted flush with my standard P1 system.

Its on the car now but I still have the gasket and its 2.5".

Hope this helps

mmmm interesting, thanks for the bit of info Andy.

Can anyone confirm that the Blitz Nur Spec R has a "R" in the writing at the side of the tip? If not is there anyway to tell the differance between a normal Spec to a Spec R?

Cheers.

The R is 3" all the way to the flange and the non R is 3" and tapers to 2.5" just before the flange.
The R does come with a centre pipe also, IIRC the R backbox wont fit onto a normal centre pipe as the R centre pipe is angled at the end so if you bolted it to a normal centre section it will come out where the number plate is

Thanks for that one boys.

Does anyone know where I`ll be able to get the correct centre section that will meet both the DP and my blitz NUR and allow the exhaust to exit at the right location?

Thanks.
