Gearbox crunched
Had to call the breakdown out today since my RB5 got stuck in second and started to crunch the gears . I can't select any gears although it is still stuck in second. I'm almost sure its an internal gearbox problem, since the clutch still works fine. Can anyone give me any advice/help on how much a recon gearbox costs for a UK MY99 and where is the bext place to take the car? I am in Sanbach in Cheshire. ABP motorsport is down the road from me, has anyone used them and are they reasonable??
Thanks,
Dan.
Thanks,
Dan.

You are in Scoobyclinic area there I think? Many rate them.
For mr, API engines would be my choice based on a couple of dealings with them last year.
They are close to Leamington Spar.
Try www.apiengines.co.uk and ask to speak to David.
No bullsh!t, straight dealing, reliable and a warranty too. Just got to get it there.
good luck, 911
