How strong are Legacy GTB auto boxes?

Default How strong are Legacy GTB auto boxes?

Would they stand up to a 2.5l conversion with the usual 400 / 400?

Gotta be cheaper / lighter than an RS4!

Not sure about this.
Std the auto is 20ps short on the manual.

Guessing it's the same as the wrx autobox. Some of the dragracing boys must have considered this option?
