I can't find the thread with the dccd instructions so a quick question. I usually drive my car in the dry with the diff fully open which gives the 35/65 split. However last night with greasy roads it nearly caught me out, quick opposite lock saved me.
Question is where to set to get 50/50 split ?
Don't think my Toyo's help, great in the dry and wet but they feel nervous on greasy roads !

With the centre in the open position you are fixing the split to the 65/35 (ish) split..
With the diff fully locked the torque split is dynamic, depending on the split of resistance. So for instance, with the fronts on ice and the rears on grippy tarmac, you could end up with a 0/100 split, front/rear.
In-between settings are more complicated, as the more you move from open to locked, the more you are reducing the basic torque split difference (towards 50/50) but also the more potential difference in torque split depending on the to split of resistance.
Also, remember, that "locked" will at different points on the controller depending on the grip level, so you may not have to move the control fully forward to achieve an effective 100% lock.

Just been out experimenting with different settings on this mornings greasy roads. I find the top 2 settings (not lock setting) are better for these conditions although the Toyo's are half of the problem in this weather. Checked pressures before anyone asks and have 33 front and 31 rear
