Yank Exhaust?
Anyone got a view on this system from the states at all?

Seems a good price (until they hit you with the shipping charge to the UK I guess)...

Its just the APS exhaust system which are excellent for high power applications, You can buy them here in the uk http://www.g-force-motorsport.co.uk/..._exhausts.html
I havent tried one but APS are well known for extracting power from scoobies. Dont know how they sound either but laws are stricter in Aussie on aftermarket exhausts which leads me to think it may be quite quiet. Milltek definitely worth looking at seems to be the "in" exhaust just now.

Thanks beastie, the APS one only comes in a full system I am told. Not sure I want to go that far just yet.
Will take a closer look at the Milltek, price looks keen. Performance Subaru do a component system that looks very much like the STi backbox that I have at the moment. Don't really wanna spend all that cash and not make a difference to the note?
Anyhow, will keep researching for the time-being.

Anyone know if Scoobysport do a 4" rolled tip?

APS backbox will fit any standard system. The "catback" system is APS backbox with a replacement cente section (not APS, I think).
Full APS system with or without sports cat can be had. With sports cat, the only downside compared to a "catback" is the extra cost.
I have full APS system with sports cat on mine. 3" as far as the backbox, emissions friendly, cast downpipe = better thermal properties, long resonator in centre = much less annoying on the motorway than most exhausts. Quality is excellent, lifetime warranty. Sound is a bit more "growly" rather than "boomy" compared to most - personally, I prefer it, as do a lot of people who have heard my car when opened up.
