Default Rad coolent?

I changed my Rad last week, and will be putting some coolent in...

Maybe a silly question, but does this go where i put in the water?

I noticed a cap by the front light on the passenger side that says coolent..?

Thought id double check....

Anyone?

For refilling the coolant after removing the rad, you want to fill from the header tank on the drivers side, bolted to the manifold.

Fill up until it doesn't take any more, then remove the small hose that goes from the top of the rad to the header tank. Squeeze the top BIG rad hose then put your finger over small hose barb on the top of the rad. This should have the effect of sucking water in to the rad from the engine. If you're going in properly, you should be able to squeeze the air out the top hose, then when you block the small barb on the top of the rad, it should pull a slight vacuum as you release the big hose. You should do this until you get a dribble of water coming out the smal barb, then re-attach the small hose between header tank and rad, top up header tank and let it idle with the coolant cap off, you should find little or no drop in coolant level in the header tank, if so, put the cap on and you're done.
