Default O2 Sensor heating up slowly What checks can be done ??

Is there a way to check if the heating side of the O2 sensor is working ?? Three wire type 1 = signal & the other 2 the heater ? Previously with my Prodrive ECU ( Apexi PFC Now) The AFR used to illuminate 2 leds with the Ignition on, Now none & the O2 sensor seems to take forever to get warm, I have replaced the O2 sensor, Still does not illuminate 2 leds, Is this just a function of the Apexi PFC, New O2 sensor does seem quicker to perform though.
Will know more after a cold start

Thanks

When the sensor is heating with the ignition on/engine off, then I would expect the sensor voltage to be zero ie lean due to the 21% oxygen it's sitting in. This should read off the scale low on your AFR meter.
To check the heating circuit is working ideally you would need to measure the current flow, or if you can access the sensor easily, feel for heat with ign on, before a cold start.

Burn Fingers Working, Not burn Fingers , something wrong, Proceed to connect wires to Permanet Live
