Hi,


I have a My98, 60k with piston slap that disapears when fully warm. I have always changed the oil etc. The engine never uses oil but I have had to clean out the boost solenoid pipes twice due to overboost/fuel cut.
What is the end result of piston slap if left to its own devices ? Not particularly worried.....

As far as I know piston slap is quite normal and can't do much damage if driven conservatively until the engine has warmed up properly
