Hi All

I have an MY04 WRX. Would a MY04 STI Backbox make much of a difference over the standard backbox in terms of power, I guess it's more for the sound? Also, will it fit.

Any advice would be great.

 

No real power gain but a fantastic gain in sound.

I really wouldn't bother with the STI BB mate - I did the same and found that the box was way too quiet and actually made the car more laggy...

Get a s/h back box off here - you'll get something decent under £200 AND you'll notice the difference...I recommend the Blitz NUR Spec

 

Or - get yourself a ninja backbox. Not too intrusive on long runs, but sounds the **** when you boot it!

 

I got the WR Sport Oval that Prodrive sell in the standard accessories catalogue.

Sounds superb.

 

I had one on my 02 WRX, think it looked very nice and combined with d/p decat it sounded quite nice.
