Lightbulb Exhaust wrap

I recently fitted a nice de-cat downpipe to my MY99 uk turbo. I also more recently bought an exhaust wrap for it, to stop the rest of my car from melting. Is there a particular process for fitting exhaust wrap or do you just literally wrap it round the pipe!?!

Ready......Aim.......

Soak the wrap in water, Wrap around the top of the pipe a couple of times , Secure with steel banding or Jubilee clips (normally supplied with the Kit ) then carry on down the pipe overlapping the wrap, keeping it nice & taught, Secure the same way at the bottom as the top, When the wrap gets hot from exhaust heat, it will shrink & become a really good fit .

Use lockwire to keep it in place, available with the pliers from Demon Tweeks. Looks better than Steel banding and Jubilee clips which can be awkward to get in the small places.
