Default MAF sensor fitting!?

Just ordered a new Maf for my car MY99. Where do I get the tool required to get the screws out?. Will a normal garage have these tools or is it just Subaru?

There's me thinking it was a two minute job

they are torx security bits and you can get them at hlafors (expensive ~£15) or machine mart (cheap ~£5)

I bought mine from a Motor Factors - once you have got the correct fittings it takes no time at all

I pulled them off with plyers, then replaced them with cross head threads

Bottom of the page. Paid £6.99 for Harper 33-piece torx bit set from a local tool supplier. Halfrauds wanted 16.99 for 6 pieces

Cheers lads, just fitted the new Maf. It is a two minute job once you have the right tools, managed to lend some off a garage.
Disconected the battery now to do an Ecu reset, so all should be good in the morning...I hope.
