Default CO2 I/C spray

Thinking of making a CO2 I/C spray for my mates MY99. We are going to start by making a water spray (similar to my Type R's) - but using the SECS unit he has to control the water spray. Eventually we will look into changing for a CO2 spray.

My thoughts are CO2 canister in boot, flexible pressure lines to I/C area, to Solenoid that opens on current, conected to small diameter copper tubing round the intercooler with holes poked around to allow dispersion all around the I/C.

By the sounds of the SECS blurb, a circuit will be made when the boost target is met, and will close when boost is below target (meaning constant spray when above pressure). How long will this take to discharge a C02 canister 5 or 10kgs?

Piping should all be around 1/8" to go in with the BSP thread available on pressure equipment.

I do not think it will be necessary to regulate pressure, as the more that comes out, the colder the IC will become!

How much is CO2 (tanks and refillls?)

how long does the 5kg bottle last?

I was thinking the boost could probably be "tweaked" a lttle with the better cooling (say from 1.2bar to 1.3)?!?
