Unhappy clutch problems

fitting new clutch today have tried taking gear box out gearbox has opened up about 2 inches the thrush bearing seems to be locked on to the clutch can anyone tell me how to get it off please 1995 uk spec

You have the same problem as I had!

Look on the N/S of the gearbox at the top and there is a large 'grub screw' type cover which you need to remove with a 10mm allen key. Once this has been removed you will see the end of a metal bar with an M4 thread in it. Use large washers to block the hole and fit an M4 bolt down there and tighten it to pull out the metal bar. The clutch arm (?) can then be removed and it should all separate.

I didn't realise this till someone on here told me about it!

you have to pull out the fork assy. from the release bearing.there is cap with a 10mm afaicr allen key remove this and remove pin that holds fork in place then just pull the top of the fork up.the fork pim has a threaded hole in the centre put a screw in with a big washer as a puller if pins tight .should make things a lot easier
