CAN ANYBODY HELP ME WITH THIS?

I HAVE A V5 STI & FITTED A BLITZ SUS POWER INDUCTION KIT AT THE WKND, NOW WHEN I ACCELERATE YOU WOULD HARDLY THINK YOUR IN A TURBO'D CAR- JUST A TOTAL LACK IN POWER UNTIL ABOUT 5-6000RPM.

 

Have you tried fitting the original back on, to see if the problem goes away ?

I know that MY99> cars were sensitive with induction kits killing MAFs, but not sure about the STis of the same years.

 

YEAH I SWAPPED THEM BACK OVER & THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY, SURELY THERE MUST BE A WAY TO GET IT TO WORK OR THEY WOULDV'E BEEN TAKEN OFF THE MARKET BY NOW??

 

ive got one for my00 and it killed my maf (but it ran and sounded the dogs nuts god i miss it)

It was fine. MY98 though.

Do you know anyone else with a scoob who can try it ?

 

WELL MY MATE HAS A UK TURBO, MIGHT BE WORTH A TRY.

WILL POWER ENGINEERING GIVE ME A REFUND OR IS IT OUT OF THEIR HANDS NOW??

 

Really dont know to be honest, they might see it as "used".
Probably best to call them and confirm.
