my local halfords sells a universal oxygen sensor for £25 .it's a lemark hotwires L300 3 wire the wire colours are 1 black 2 white my oe has 1 black 1 white 1 red does any body know if it's a simple case of swapping the wires over or is it just the wrong one?any advise app.

 

Wires need swapping, i have fitted a couple of these now.

On the OE sensor red n black are live n Neg, white is signal..

is the wiring the same for all models?

Ie does my MY00 have a 3 wire lambda or a 2 wire?

 

i fitted one of these to my car a month ago. Works very well, just leave extra time for fitting due to having to swap the wires. I used the old plug and re-crimped the wires in.
