Default green or not?

this might be a silly question but are green panel filters actually supposed to be green in colour or not? the reason i ask is that i bought one today but when i pulled it out is is more of a dark blue/black/grey colour. just wondering if its the right one as all the ones on the box (which has been opened before and resealed with tape) are green in colour. cheers

I fitted one to day and not even a hint of green...ironically very similar to the STi filter but without the pink logo...did you cut the little rubber lugs of yours?

Exclamation

Usually a piece a cake to put in....

Just be careful as the oil sucked from the filter can bugger up the MAF sensor.... and you don't want that to happen or she'll run like a dog with 2 legs!
