Right,
I had a look at an STI8 downpipe yesterday off the car, what I'm now wondering is, if I were to get a decatted section for an STI would that then make the downpipe the same length as the classics, to clarify, I would have an STI prodrive downpipe with cat, and the short section where the next cat normally goes, would that then fit straight onto my classic centre section??

The STI jap imports use the classic length down pipe so all you would need is a classic centre this would link up to your back box,so making the exhaust in to a 3 part classic style instead of a 4 part new age.
