Ok just wanted to get some feed back, with all the big power engines out there who is running after market 5 speed gear sets like par and ppg hewland etc, how much tq and bhp have you run on thsese before they die.?

Why not just fit a 6 speeder at 1/3 the cost?

im sure john banks killed a hewland set but runs a 6 speed just right

 

true true i no its the sensible choice, but i do like those low down type r ratios, and would be great running 400+ on the drag whith them, but it is looking like a 6 speed jdm at the mo with dccd, if nothing else because these gear sets just dont seem to hold up to well from what i see. I just wanted to get some more points before i make my final choice.
