Urgent Help Please Blue Smoke
I have an MY03 WRX PPP
Pulled up outside a friends house to drop my daughter off and noticed blue smoke from the back of the car Now I may be no Einstein in mechanics but blue smoke dont look good on a year old motor.
Oil levels fine and by the time I got home (5mins) it had cleared. Booked into my Dealership does this sound terminal?

Oil isnt overfilled its bang on the money where it should be. If it was piston rings wouldnt it do that all of the time?
As for turbo seals I don't know. Could this be a one off or is this the thin edge of the wedge before it all goes t1ts up??
PS trying to be lighthearted but it aint working

Welcome to the club...
Same problem - once - with my one year old WRX03 fully decated.
Car was parked in a uphill road and idle for more than 10 mins, blue smoke from the exhaust and slight oil smell.
I believe this is rare but possible (decat plays a rule on this) when the car sits idle for too long on uphills as some oil could pass turbo seals.
Have some oil consumption from day one but remains the same after the above phenomenon and I know one guy with MY00 that had once same problem with me.

I was following Gangsta when some dubious overtaking procedures were followed, & then a black Subaru having me on the roundabout.. I wasn't sure where we were eating so cruised Bazvegas.......looking for the eatery.....
I did get lost again.....though what a sight.
