I've just bought a secondhand downpipe for my car, with the intention of doing the wastegate flange thingy mod, you know the one i mean.
I'm planning on leaving the cat in place as i only have that one left and i want to pass MOT's.
Will i notice any difference like this or would it be best to loose the cat too?
Any thoughts much appriciated.
Cheers

You know, when you mill out the flat plate that covers the wastegate opening, so that it breathes better. lots of companys do the mod in various ways but i thought i might have a go myself with a spare you see.

*Boost creep is where even when the wastegate is fully open boost pressure continues to rise
