dump valve
hi i have got a scooby wrx my95 i have just installed a hks dump valve and when accelerating the car judders between 3000 and 5000 revs and the rev counter fluctuates as the car shudders. not sure if this is anything to do with a new dump valve e.g not istalled properly or something more serious. any suggestions???

Just installed one myself on a Bugeye (HKS SSQV). Came with no instructions but was pretty self explanatory, couldn't really go wrong.
I suppose the only problem that could occur is that the boost pressure is leaking out if it wasn't installed properly. (or the valve is faulty)
There was a black (plastic?) gasket between mine and the IC - make sure that didn't drop out when you took the old one off and you didn't notice....
Also did you plug the recirc pipe that is no longer required if it is a VTA type?
It's not a hard job though mine was a bit fiddly, so might be worth putting the old one back on and trying it - better than risking any serious damage
