Default Quick sparkplug question

As I'm having the engine out of my scoob (1996 wrx, standard except for green panel filter) for a head gasket change, I thought it wise to change the plugs at the same time. I've no idea what type of plugs are in it at the moment.

Given the spec of the car at the moment and the fact that I plan on adding a de-cat exhaust in the next few months, which type of plugs do people recommend: NGK PFR6B or PFR7B? Will PFR7B's be ok for my car in its current virtually unmodified spec?

Thanks in advance

Doug

7b's will probably be OK, but 6b's will do and are cheaper

You can always change them at the next service for 7's if you do more mods. It's not that hard to change them in the car
