Default Help with diff control

When should it be used, why, how where, when trying to donut? normal driving, and gravel(not been on any to try) and what happens when bottom light flashes, it did do, turned off car, re-started, and now been ok.
Any instructions? btw, car is '95 WRX STI RA

thanks, so does this mean pull the handbrake up to 1st click to donut or just leave down? why doesnt the manual tell you how to donut????

bottom light flashing = centre diff fault. occassionally the diff computer, but more usually an electrical problem, with the diff.

I wouldn't imagine your clutch, diff or box are going to like donuts much, but I'm sure someone can advise you how to do it if you must (god I sound old and boring)
