How can you tell if its broke?
Hi i posted a thread the other day as my 97WRX doesnt seem to pull as hard as it used to, im wondering if it could be MAF or AFR sensor related what do you guys think? It doesnt hunt on idle and it doesnt hesitate, just lacks the punch it once had

Where do you start!?
Blocked air filter?
Air leak?
Oil in the boost solenoid pipes?
Collapsed Cat?
Worn turbo?
etc etc.
Think you will need to take it to a specialist.

Boost solenoid is clean as i cleaned it the other day, i dont think its an air leak as it is hloding constantly no pulsing etc, could be the CAT? its booked in at the end of the month for a decat and a power run so this may be able to identify any problems

a freind of mine said just the same, will this decat increase the boost? i have a full system as well and an induction kit, if it does increase, in turn will the wastgate need to be adjusted? Thanks for the feedabck

It should help the turbo spool up more quickly though, reducing lag.
