Question Removing Rad from Sti v3; can this be done?

Can you remove the rad from an Sti v3 without disturbing the power steering hoses that pass over the top of the rad to the left hand side, and can you leave the a/c 'rad' in place without having to disturb that lot too?

What other versions of the Impreza share the same rad? ie WRX, Wagon etc??
I don't think there is anything 'special' about the rad in the STi.

having done loads, we have never come across any difference in radiators (discounting auto's!!)..................the power steering cooler pipes can be unbolted and moved to one side to allow the removal of your radiator - no need to trouble the air-con at all...........................

Yep!

My STI3 rad was simple to take out. The cooler pipes as Alyn says just unbolt and rock to the side.

I thank you very much!
This helps me thread the work in between the hill climbs knowing i can get it all done, and go to work also!
Having a difficult time this year with this car, never had so many problems with my tweeked hill climb 911.....but that is air cooled!

I'm hoping the theory that it is a leaking header tank is true, otherwise its the cylinder head(s) gone..........that will be fun.

Graham.
