Was driving car tonight, into 3rd revs moved up turbo kicked in getting ready to change into 4th bang 3rd gear lets go.... now i only have 1st,2nd 4th,5th and reverse....any ideas what could have gone

Break it to me gently is gonna cost?????

Obviously sound like 3rd synchro has gone, maybe the third gear wasn't full 'in' or you pulled the gear lever before the clutch was fully dis engaged...?
Either way it's a box out job to check the total damage.
you may wish to consider just getting another compatible gearbox (to match your rear diff) as a re build will see you £500 lighter.
Ask for a suitable specialist on these pages in your area if you are not a DIY guy!
