Default Wastegate adjustment? Can this one be adjusted?

This is what is fitted to my MY98 WRX

Can this be adjusted? I think from what I have read on here that there should be some free play in the arm before the actuator opens the waste gate, is this right?

I'm thinking mine may be opening too early thats all.

Any advice/thoughts welcome.

Fit an after market boost controller in that case and then you can choose when it opens

I agree, but I think it is open a little to start off with.

I have had a Blitz boost controller for 2 years, solid control from the dashboard!
My Sti v3 runs a steady 1.31 bar, no fuel cut/over boost anymore.
