WHICH OILS TO USE FOR A 95 JAP WRX?
Hi All,
Can anybody suggest the grade and/or the best oils to use for my recently purchased 95 WRX (engine/gearbox/diffs) obviously its a Jap import. It's been in the country for 6 months and the previous owner used Mobil1 engine oil but the gearbox/diffs need changing.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

You can put Syntrax in the diff as well, it does not need limited slip diff oil since the L/S part of the diff is self contained (viscous).
Semi synthetic 10/40 oil is fine for the car, and cheaper than full synthetic. You can afford to change the oil more often too which is far better.

Thanks both for your help.
It'll have to wait until pay day then I can get the oils changed. Just spent £500 - £600 on a timing belt change with a new tensioner, 3x idlers,a/c & fan belt, spark plugs and a few bits and bobs all from a main dealer.
Costing me a arm and a leg at the moment but It'll be worth it in the end.
I've wanted one of these cars for years so I want to look after it.
Cheers
