Where is the speedo convertor located for the jap import sti 8 2003 and what does it look like .

On a JDM 2003-2004 STI, there is no switch to convert the km/h into mph. The speed is displayed in km/h only. The ones in mph are for the US market 2.5ltr (EJ25) engine Impreza's

...well mine hasn't got one anyway!

 

you've got 2 choices, get a recalibrated speedo face, which is the cheapest, or a convertor, which plugs in between the speedo and gearbox, this will also get rid of the 112mph speed limiter (costs around £70)

 

Mine is under the intercooler on top of the G'box
