Default Leaky Rear Diff ???

My rear Diff has recently started leaking & seems to be coming from around the diff shaft (shaft that fastens to the prop) is there a seal around this shaft that can be replaced ??. I will have to get it on a lift for closer inspection. Has anyone rplaced this ?? & if so how easy..

Thanks

Dean

Dean, there is a double lip seal behind the prop flange, can be changed, BUT:
The large nut that holds the flange on is VERY tight, as in VERY.
You can do the job under the car, bitch to do though, maybe talk to a Dealer first as the socket/breakbar needed will cost about £30. Stopping the wheels turning while you do the job will also be hard.
Good Luck!
