Exhaust Wrap
I know this has need posted on several time but I'm interested to hear comments.
Proven products have told me they don't recommend their product for turbocharged cars.
If I do use it they say to start about 6 inches below the neck and then cover approx 18 inches of the downpipe. They reckon this will take approx 5m of wrap.
Comments appreciated.

Scoobyclinic say don't bother wrapping at all - they don't!
Perhaps I should also explain that this is going on a JDM Forester not some 400 bhp STI monster.
In fact I probably don't really need the decat but don't tell the wife that!

I'm about to wrap my downpipe with this stuff! Only doing it to quieten it down.
Did they say why it isn't reccommended? I assume turbo exhausts get too hot?? But to be fair it is the downpipe, hardly headers so I can't see it getting any hotter than NA engines at this point.

had Proven Products cooltek wrap on my downpipe for a year now and looks fine. Also got wrap from think-auto on the centre section (same stuff but postage is cheaper).
It helps to get rid of that horrible tinnie ring when cold that the stainless pipes can produce
