can you get fined or points on your licence for getting pulled with a too loud exhaust advice please

 

I think that you should be able to plead ignorance / that something went wrong with it today and you are on the way to get it fixed etc and be given 7 days to get it sorted and produce a test certificate at a police station - same as with de-cats and emissions testing.
