Question Whats my STi6/P1 short motor worth?

crank knackered in my short motor on my STi6 Type R

an option is to get it rebuilt (with uprated crank and oil pump) and anything else thats needs replacing and sell it, if i do what should i ask for it?

ps. thinking of the 2.5 option instead

Grade A breakers sell em at £1000 for a 2nd hand one plus your old one? so does £1000 for a rebuilt uprated one without an exchange seem a good price?
