Exclamation help needed center pipe

I have a v7 wrx import (bug eye) and i have the chance to get the scoopysport centerpipes but looking under my car i cant see the joint between the 2 sections, the short scoobysport center pipe has a hole for the lambda sensor do you just undo the sensor and fit in this hole? will fitting the short section and doing away with the last (3rd) cat upser the ecu will i need a remap?should i just fit the longer center section and keep the last cat as it is but as i said i cant see the joint ,or is there no point in fitting just this section if indeed i can, or should i just forget the lot i seem to be confuised with it all
thanks

There isn't a third cat. The bulge in the long centre pipe is a resonator which reduces noise. I believe the sensor in the short cat pipe is the EGT (exhaust gas temp) and the replacement pipe should have a hole that it screws into.

See the pic here - http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/trolleyed/8/23/index.htm

If the downpipe is replaced with a de-cat you will need an electronic gizmo that fools the ecu.
