Default What Turbo is on an STi Version 4

Does the STi V4 use a VF series or a TD series Turbo.

I thinks it may be a TD04 or a VF24.

If not would the STi V4 Turbo give any advantage over a TD04 on an ECUTEK's UK car.

Yep, thats what I thought.

Initial searching indicates that the VF24 is only good for about 17psi.
As I am running the TD04 at 16psi+ I doubt it's gonna be worth it.

Your views are appreciated.....

Don't make the mistake of assuming that two turbos producing the same level of boost will produce the same airflow and power.

A bigger turbo running more efficiently will add much less heat to the air it is pumping than a smaller turbo being run less efficiently. Cooler air is more dense and thus the larger, more efficient turbo will feed the engine more oxygen for the same level of boost.

I understood the VF24 to be a bit larger than a TD04, although there may not be that much in it, but the VF has a ball bearing (or roller bearing?) core which helps improve efficiency.
