I've just ordered an 240 AP clutch and modified flywheel to fit a 6 speed box. If something goes wrong with my funds, do you guys think I can fit these to the std 5 speed UK box without problem? I'm 50% sure its possible!

Yes, the key is to having the flywheel and clutch matching

Just the news I was after...excellent. Yeh, the flywheel and clutch will be the 240 size with a new release bearing.

Think it will be a while before I get chance to buy a uk 6 speed with diffs.

you will also need to grind away some ribs in the bell housing of the box to clear the clutch

I would think this is a very good tweek for a hard driven car?
The extra diameter increases the surface area and the heat dissipation over the smaller AP/Scooby clutch design.
Good luck with the 6 speed hunt Absolute.

Cheers guys. Hope I don't have to do the 'mod' to the 5 speed and find one of the 'gold plated' 6 speeds....my other trouble is, I want suretrack diffs with it too.
