I have a slight oil leak which drips onto the downpipe, its not very often, usually after the cars been stood for a while, when you start the engine you get that burning oil smell through the heater vents, i've been told its the rocker gasket ..... ? Any help would be appreciated, prices etc ......

More than likely to be rocker cover gasket, £18 quid ish for gasket & about an hours labour charge £45 (all plus vat of course).

Usually goes after a few years due to the extensive heat factors.....rubber gasket goes hard & almopst brittle & then leaks, initially only a few drips (don't leave it too long)
